Joe Ann Fletcher comes to Dress For Success with over two decades of leadership experience in nonprofit management and organizational development. Joe Ann has served on numerous nonprofit boards and in several C-level positions such as CEO of Saint Laurence Chapel Day Shelter, COO of HGH Education Foundation and as the Shelter Director for Women in Distress and Lippman Youth Center. Joe Ann enjoys volunteering in her spare time and has served two consecutive terms as president of her local AKA Sorority Alumni Chapter and recently served two consecutive terms as President of the North Broward County Chapter of The Links, Incorporated: a national friendship and community service organization. Her Motto in life is “to serve and not to be served while making a difference in the lives of others”.

Joe Ann strongly feels that her experience creativity, energy, innovative ideas and organizational development skills will help take Dress for Success Palm Beaches to the next level. She enjoys empowering the many women that she encounters on a day-to-day basis at Dress for Success.

10:00 am – Social time.                                                                                                                10:30 am – President Joyceyn Patrick will conduct the business meeting, after which Emanuel Jackson, the Founding Director (2014) of the EJS Project will tell us about the Project’s mission to provide a safe space for teenagers.

Lunch will be at Wood and Fire Pizza, 5199 W. Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach.

May 8, 2024

10:00 am – Social time.                                                                                                                   10:15 am – After the business meeting conducted by President Joycelyn Patrick, Alexcia Cox, Deputy Chief Assistant of the State Attorney’s Office (Palm Beach County)

will speak about crime prevention. Ms Cox is the first woman and African-American to serve in this role in the State Attorney’s office.

Lunch will be at Chaiyo Thai Street Food, 14812 S. Military Trail, Delray Beach.
